• Asante Kotoko to end the first round of the season this afternoon with Dreams FC in Dawu.
After losing 1-0 to Karela United, Asante Kotoko restored an air of normality in their last game, claiming commanding 4-0 win over Accra Lions.
They will have to beat Dreams FC to retake the second position – moving two points clear above their rivals Accra Hearts of Oak, who sit second with 28 points.
The three points will also ensure that Kotoko will only be two points behind the leaders who dropped points at Bechem on Friday afternoon.
The Dawu outfit will be desperate to bounce back from their poor run in their last three games and stop the Porcupine Warriors but on paper Seydou Zerbo’s men should be confident of another win.
Striker Steven Mukwala has been in great form recently and his brace last weekend will see him going into this game raring to go.
A win over Dreams FC could bring the Porcupines back to the second position as they wrap up the first half of the season today.
The Reds are close to full strength. Cocah Zerbo has selected his Black Galaxies trio Augustine Agyapong and Mohammed Sheriff in his starting XI, with Danlad Ibrahim also returning to the post after the CHAN tournament in Algeria.
