Board member for Accra Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Braimah Akambi says the Rainbows are on course to win the ongoing BetPawa Premier League.
The board member insists it will be tough but there is a believe that Hearts of Oak will clinch the title at the end of the campaign.
Following the team’s elimination from the MTN FA Cup, they will face a season where their only realistic chance of winning a trophy is the Premier League.
“I have the believe that Hearts of Oak will win the league, we are on course to win the Premier League title even though it is going to be tough,” Alhaji Braimah Akanbi stated in an interview with Original FM.
At the end of the first round of the season, the Rainbows find themselves at the second position with 28 points from seventeen games.
Now Hearts and league leaders Aduana Stars go head-to-head on Sunday in a blockbuster clash that could see the Rainbows closing the gap to one point on week 18.
The game is scheduled for Sunday, February 19th at the Accra Sports Stadium.
