Head coach for Aduana Stars, Paa Kwasi Fabin was pleased with his boys performance after their historic win over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium, saying they played according to instructions.
The league leaders cruised past the Rainbows 2-0 in the nation’s capital to extend their lead on the league table through Isaac Mintah’s second half brace.
“Well, I think the boys did very well. Like I told you before that if they play to the instructions we rehearsed at training it will be difficult for Hearts to beat us. I think they played to instructions and things worked for us so we thank God for the results,” Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin told StarTimes.
Asked should this be considered as one of their best performances of the season, he replied, “I think so. I think this is our best performance so far.”
The victory means Aduana Stars are now five points clear above second-placed Bechem United, who sit second with 30 points after 18 games.
