Coach Slavko Matic says he is satisfied after his first four months with Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Serbian tactician was appointed as head coach for the Ghanaian giants in October 2022 to replace Samuel Boadu, who was fired in September.
Matic feels good despite the team’s elimination from the FA Cup and is optimistic about the future after what’s been an enjoyable and encouraging first four months in the hotseat, having guided the team to finish second after the first round of the season.
“As I said. Big clubs, big goals. We know our duty but I never ask my players to win a game. I ask them to do what will work at the training, to believe in themselves, to believe in the teammates and and to believe in what they want. They must adopt to my work but in this first four month I can say that I am very satisfied,” Matic told Ghanasportspage.com.
Hearts of Oak will face league leaders Aduana Stars this afternoon, aiming to stop the Fire Boys at the Accra Sports Stadium.
