The Ministry of Youth and Sports have donated an amount of money to the Former U-20 world cup winner coach.
Sellas Tetteh who led Ghana U-20 to clinch the U-20 in 2009 revealed that the country is yet to pay the $4000 promised after he guided the team to win the World Cup in Egypt.
The revelation by the former national coach pushed some individuals to donate and foot some hospital bills for his recovery.
Among these individuals who donated were the captain of the U-20 team that clinched the trophy Andrew Ayew. He made some donations to his former coach as he’s calling on individuals for assistance.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports led nu the Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie led a delegation of officials from the Ministry to pay a visit to the ailing former coach of the Black Satellites, Mr. Sellas Tetteh at his residence in Accra.
The purpose of the visit was to ascertain the health condition of the coach and also to present a cash donation of Fifty thousand Ghana cedis (GHc50,000) on behalf of H.E Nana Akuffo Addo to meet the medical expenses of the coach.
Coach Sellas Tetteh was the coach in charge of the Black Satellites in 2009 when the Ghana U20 team won the FIFA U20 World Cup.
