Ghanaian champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko come up against Aduana Stars this afternoon at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in the last 16 of the MTN FA Cup.
On Saturday, the team arrived in Dormaa with 19 players for the game.
Nine of their players featuring Maxwell Agyemang, Justice Blay, Dickson Afoakwa, Yusif Mubarik, Patrick Asmah, Isaac Oppong, Enoch Morrision , Danlad Ibrahim and Rashid Nortey have all been ruled out of the game with different degrees of injuries.
The Porcupine Warriors are in search of their first FA Cup title since 2017 but will have to beat in-form Aduana Stars in Dormaa to make it to the next stage of the competition.
Ahead of this afternoon’s crucial game, Coach Seydou Zerbo is expected to make few changes to his set up but goalkeeper Frederick Asare will be maintained in posts with Augustine Agyapong and Mohammed Alhassan starting from defence.
In midfield, Richmond Lamptey and Richard Boadu will be giving the green light to commence the game.
However, Georges Mfegue and Steven Mukwala will be deployed to lead lines for the visitors.
