Asante Kotoko central midfielder, Enock Morrison is confident that they will beat Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday to close the gap on Aduana Stars and also snatch the President’s Cup trophy.
Morrison scored the only for the Porcupine Warriors as they claimed a 1-0 victory over Bechem United on week 19 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The former King Faisal player has impressed the Ghanaian champions since his arrival.
He was named as the Most Valuable Player after Wednesday’s slim win over the Hunters.
And after helping Kotoko to get back to winning ways, he said: “We needed these points very badly. We came in fully prepared and mentally tough that at all cost we need to get this three points,” Morrison told StarTimes.
The 23-year-old central midfielder added: “It will ginger us and motivate us in our next game. It’s a big match but is not that big for us.
“We are capable and we know what we can do. So we are okay.”
