Former Hearts of Oak defender, Daniel Coleman has sent a word of caution to players of Accra Hearts and Asante Kotoko ahead of the Super Clash on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Coleman, a member of the Hearts of Oak squad that won the 2004 CAF Confederations Cup, in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com emphasized that the current crop of players with the two glamorous clubs should be battle ready for such games.
“As a player, if you want to succeed it’s through Kotoko and Hearts. Also, if you will be disgraced as a player, it depends on these same teams.
“If the need arises for you as a defender to clear the ball, do it simple and move on. One mistake can ruin your entire life. The players should have the habit of” safety first” and strikers in such games should be clinical at any given time and moment”
“Supporters can kill the spirit of a player if the player misses a chance or continue to make mistakes throughout the game”, Dan Coleman told the leading sports page, Ghanasportspage.com.
