Karela FC squeezed out a draw in the Ghana Premier League matchday 20 fixture on Saturday against Dreams FC at the theatre of dreams.
This was a game Dreams FC were hoping to use to make amends for the loss against Kotoku Royals last weekend but Karela FC had ideas of their own.
The first half started on a frantic note as two successive chances fell to Dreams FC in the opening minutes but Mohammed Rashid got in the way of Simba just before he could shoot
The visitors started the game very strongly Adomako made a good run and found Victor Oduro but the striker’s effort was stopped by the goalkeeper.
Karim Zito’s boys kept on pushing forward in the early minutes of the game. But the visitors halted their momentum.
The rest of the half lost some spark as Karela sat back to ensure they go into the dressing room at half time with a goalless scoreline.
Dreams FC continued to huff and puff but the Karela defence stood firm and blocked anything that was thrown at them.
Karela FC themselves managed to fashion some chances on the counter for themselves but their finishing was lacking.
Dreams FC will travel away next to play Accra Lions in Accra.
