The Kotoko fanbase has been left stunned following Sunday’s defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Porcupine Warriors lost 1-0 to the Phobians at the Accra Sports Stadium in the BetPawa Premier League matchday 20.
The game also doubled as the President’s Cup to honour the President of the land as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
Konadu Yiadom scored the only goal to give the Rainbows the much-needed win after losing their last two games in the Ghanaian top-flight.
However, the defeat does still come as a surprise to the fans of the Ghanaian champions.
One of the supporters was sad and commented that he has decided to stop the monthly contribution to the club.
