Accra Hearts of Oak board member, Hon. Vincent Odotei has replied the President of the Ghana Football Association over poor GPL stadium attendance.
The low patronage of the domestic top-flight has become a major concern for stakeholders.
But the Ghana FA boss believes the low stadium attendance has nothing to do with the football governing body, saying it should be a concern to the clubs especially Accra Hearts of Oak And Asante Kotoko.
With the FA blaming the two big clubs, Hon. Vincent Odotei Sowah has stated that it is not their responsibility to force people to watch a game which is dry and not exciting.
Responding to Kurt Okraku’s comment, the Phobian board member said: “Ghana Premier League is a dead product. Our game is not fit for purpose. You cannot force people to come and watch a game which is dry and not exciting. You can’t promote a dead product. We are doing our best but football is entertainment.” He told Pure FM.
