Bibiani Gold Stars striker, Abednego Tetteh has vowed to score against his former side, Accra Hearts of Oak on week 21 of the BetPawa Premier League.
The former Phobian striker has had a good run since his arrival at the Dun’s Park. He has scored six goals in his last six games for the Golden Boys.
He is hopeful of increasing his tally against the President’s Cup holders.
However, as stated below, Tetteh also says that if he does score against Hearts of Oak, he will not celebrate as a mark of respect for his former club and fans.
“I won’t celebrate if I score against Hearts of Oak tomorrow at Duns Park because I have huge respect for them as a former club. I’m hoping to score against them but they should forgive me even if I celebrate after scoring against them.” He told Wontumi Radio/TV.
He added: “I will urge our [Bibiani Goldstars] fans to come in their numbers just as they did in our independence day game against Aduana Stars. We will definitely beat Hearts of Oak on Saturday.”
The fixture is scheduled for Saturday, March 11 at the Dun’s Park.
