Isaac Mensah ended Gold Stars’ defensive resilience with a late minutes strike to rescue a dramatic 1-1 draw for Hearts of Oak at the Dun’s Park.

Evans Owusu put the Golden Boys in front with a magnificent strike in the fourth minute of the first half.

Gold Stars looked to have snatched all three points but Hearts of Oak, who defeated Asante Kotoko last Sunday in Accra, found a leveller through Isaac Mensah’s goal in the dying embers.
