Kotoku Royals striker, Francis Andy Kumi insists they can beat Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The relegation battling side will meet the Phobians in the BetPawa Premier League matchday 22.
Sunday’s away game in the Ghanaian top-flight is never going to be easy, having lost 1-0 to the Rainbows in their first meeting in the first round but the in-form attacker believes they have the necessary ingredients to shock the President’s Cup holders in Accra.
“I am well determined. Our preparations and everything shows we are all ready for Hearts of Oak. Winning is possible. Hearts of Oak is beatable. Some teams were able to beat them and I think we are well prepared. I don’t want to say that we will beat them but they are beatable. I’m hoping that we will get our day coming Sunday as compared to other games we played so that we can claim victory for our supporters in Oda.”
Francis Andy Kumi just can’t stop scoring right now. After struggling with Asante Kotoko and Bechem United, Kumi has gorged himself on goals in his first month with the Royals. The former Kotoko forward found the net in Kotoku Royals’ sensational 3-1 win over third-placed Bechem United last weekend, taking his tally to 6 in 8 league games.
Kotoku Royals is currently on the 18th place in the Premier League table after 21 games.
