Two players (goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim and defender Augustine Agyapong) are out from Kotoko’s travelling squad to face FC Samartex this Saturday. The duo are on national duty with the Black Meteors at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.
Only two changes were made from the squad that travelled to Accra for the game against Accra Hearts of Oak as 20 players are set to make the trip to Samartex. That includes returnee Justice Blay and Moise Poauty.
The Porcupine Warriors will go into the game without their head coach Seydou Zerbo, who has been given two weeks break due to the death of his ten-year old son. The team will be temporarily managed by deputy coach Orlando Wellington.
However, Rashid Nortey, Maxwell Agyemang, Isaac Oppong, Yusif Mubarik and Dickson Afoakwa have been sidelined. They are still on the team’s injury list.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Nana Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
