Football lovers on Twitter have heaped praise on Ghanaian winger, Kamaldeen Suleimana following his excellent display in Southampton’s 3-3 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League.
Kamaldeen came off the bench in the 70th minute and produced a game-changing performance for Southampton as they came from behind to share the spoils with Tottenham at St Mary’s Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur took the lead in the 45th minute with Pedro Porro hammering a shot into the roof of the net just before half time.
Che Adams levelled 47 seconds into the second half, but the Saints found themselves pegged back again following two goals from Harry Kane and Ivan Perisic.
This saw Southampton boss Ruben Selles tweak his tactics with Kamaldeen Suleimana replacing Mohamed Elyounoussi in their attack in the second half.
His introduction proved a masterstroke as his abundance of pace and tricky wore down the Tottenham defence.
He was rated 7.1 in just 20 minutes after helping the strugglers to draw with Tottenham through the goals from Che Adams, Theo Walcott, and Ward-Prowse.
But a point does nothing to improve Southampton’s position in the table as they remain rooted to the bottom, but it does highlight the improvements made under manager Ruben Selles.
They have managed just one win so far under the Spanish coach – against fellow strugglers Leicester in March – but this spirited second-half performance showed promising signs as they face a tough battle to stay in the Premier League.
