Coach Annor Walker cut an understandably disappointed figure after Samartex FC’s 2-1 Premier League defeat at home to Asante Kotoko, as he felt they shouldn’t have lost.
He was critical of his side for giving away two cheap goals to the Porcupine Warriors.
FC Samartex had gone unbeaten in their last two games, having defeated Aduana Stars before playing out a goalless draw with Great Olympics in Accra.
They returned home hoping to snatch another clean sheet but they found themselves pegged back following Enock Morrison and Rocky Dwamena’s first half goals.
However, Ebenezer Acquah’s last minute goal was not enough to save them.
Speaking after the game, Coach Annor Walker said: “This is not a match we should have lost. We gave away two cheap goals to Kotoko and I think this has cost me a lot. Is really a painful defeat to me,” he told StarTimes.
