Head coach for Kotoku Royals, John Eduafo acknowledged that lack of concentration led to his team’s 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The visitors put in another fine performance as they continue their Premier League campaign following their 3-1 win over Bechem United last weekend, but failed to convert a number of presentable chances.
The Phobians were made to work hard for the win, with the game looking set to end in a draw until Caleb Amankwah’s late header secured the victory for them.
Despite failing to snatch a point from the trip, John Eduafo was pleased with the performance of his boys.
But he bemoaned his side’s lack of concentration during an interview with StarTimes after the game.
“A little lost of concentration but am so much impress by the performance of my team. Is just a hard luck.
“In fact I told them what I have to tell them during the recess and just as I have already said, a little lost of concentration in the game gave them the goal. It’s part of the game.
“Sometimes in the game of football like this it happens so I’m not much worried though it it’s very hurtful but it is part of the game. We have been defeated and I do accept it.
The Oda-based club remains at the bottom place on the league table with only 17 points from 22 game.
Their next game will be against King Faisal on week 23.
