Accra Hearts of Oak will play against Karela United in the BetPawa Premier League this afternoon at the CAM Park in Anyinase.
Today’s meeting is the reverse fixture for matchday 6 clash which ended goalless at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The team managed by David Ocloo is in a great moment and they are entering the game with a lot of confidence after going unbeaten in their last three games.
The clash could prove tricky for David Ocloo’s men but victory could see them climb to the second place on the league table.
The former Asante Kotoko deputy trainer selected a 20-man squad for the game. Caleb Amankwah and Obeng Junior are not available for selection. Gladson Awako and Dennis Korsah are still on the team’s injury list.
Kwadwo Obeng Junior will mis the clash because of illness but Caleb Amankwah is serving a one-match ban following his red card in their previous game in Accra.
With Obeng Junior and Amankwah missing from the starting XI, Coach David Ocloo is expected to replace them with Konadu Yiadom and Isaac Mensah.
Francis Adjetey is also starting as replacement for Yakubu Zakari. Konadu Yiadom will command the Phobians defence with Amankwaa Baafi alongside Rashid Okine.
The partnership of Eric Esso, Linda Mtenge and Jeordan Otanga will continue in midfield.
There will be a change upfront, with Salifu Ibrahim coming in as replacement for Albert Diego Dieudonne Eonde. Benjamin Yorke has also maintained his role. Richmond Ayi is still the man in posts.
Enoch Asuboteng, Samuel Inkoom, Kwabena Anane, Victor Aidoo and others are expected to from bench.
