A frustrated Seydou Zerbo has disclosed why his boys were humbled at home for the first time in the current campaign by Medeama SC on Sunday evening.
The Porcupine found themselves 2-0 down after the final whistle at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as a result of goals from Jonathan Sowah and Vincent Atinga.
The GPL holders were far from their best on a disappointing evening at their own backyard as they fell to Medeama SC that entered the game without victory in their previous ten away matches.
Speaking in a post-match interview, the Burkinabé tactician said: “Our game plan didn’t today. We lost concentration, determination and the game plan. We couldn’t apply the tactical ploy very well.”
“I am very disappointed with how the result came. We still have to accept it and work on the mistakes,” Coach Seydou Zerbo told StarTimes.
The Porcupine Warriors will now turn their attention to next week’s clash against Legon Cities in Accra.
They are seventh on the league table with 34 points after 22 matches.
