Asante Kotoko management has announced the departure of their Burkinabe gaffer Seydou Zerbo in the early Monday Match 26, 2023.
The Porcupine warriors appointed Zerbo on the 21st of August 2022 to handle Asante Kotoko until the end of 2022/2023 season.
The 59-year-old came to replace Prosper Narteh Ogum who resigned from his position.
He signed a one-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors with an option for another year. But the club management thinks, his performance is not what the club need.
The club and the coach mutually agree to terminate Zerbo’s contract. The club announced on its Twitter page this morning ;
Medeama SC traveled to Kumasi to beat Kotoko 2-0 after the final whistle at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as a result of goals from Jonathan Sowah and Vincent Atinga, that has called for the sacking of Seydou Zerbo.
