Deputy coach for Accra Hearts of Oak, David Ocloo has revealed the biggest problem of his team after their 1-0 win over Accra Lions.
Scoring seems to be the club’s main problem. The equally posses better like other teams but how to be efficient in the third has been the problem for the Rainbows.
The former GPL champions have scored only four goals and conceded four in their last four matches.
After terminating the contract of Junior Kaaba and selling Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, the Rainbows brought Cameroonian attacker, Albert Diego Dieudonne Eonde to beef up their striking department in a bid to score more goals and subsequently, achieve more this season but they have had a problem converting chances in recent matches.
Speaking after the game against Accra Lions on Wednesday evening, Coach David Ocloo said: “I will say we create a lot of chances but we rather don’t score. Apart from this match that we did not create much chances, we created chances in all the games we played. Even at Anyinase we created some decent chances but we couldn’t score. Scoring has been the problem and we are working assiduously on it.”
Next stop, Hearts of Oak will take on Dreams FC in Dawu before the game against Nsoatreman FC at home. They currently rank third with 38 points on the league table.
