Accra Hearts of Oak interim coach, David Ocloo could name a strong team to face Dreams FC today in the ongoing BetPawa Premier League matchday 25 at Dawu Park.

Ocloo’s side will face the Dawu boys at 3:00PM local time and will be without their influential forward Eric Esso who has been replaced by striker Kwadwo Obeng Junior. Esso has booked three [3] yellows cards which will not see him on the field against Dreams FC.

The Phobians travelled to Dawu without their number-one goalie, Richmond Ayi. He was asked to stay behind the team after he used some white powder to spring his face last week in their game against Karela United, Ghanasportspage.com can confirm.

The unusual look has raised eyebrows with some attributing it to black magic, also known as “Juju”. However, it is unknown why the goalkeeper decided to cover his face in powder. Despite Ayi’s controversial appearance, Hearts of Oak were unable to secure a victory against Karela United.

The Phobians hope to close the gap when they win against Dreams FC today. They are currently on the 4th of the league table, a win will push them to 1st or 2nd depending on the results that will come from the Aduana Stars game against Tamale City on Sunday.

Ocloo’s Possible Starting XI against Dreams is as follows:

  1. Eric Ofori Antwi GK
  2. Samuel Inkoom
  3. Dennis Korsah
  4. Caleb Amankwah
  5. Konadu Yiadom
  6. Jeordan Otanga
  7. Enock Asubonteng
  8. Obeng Kwadwo Junior
  9. Albert Diego Eonde
  10. Don Linda Mtange
  11. Yaw Amankwah Baafi
