Accra Hearts of Oak deputy coach, David Ocloo has hailed two defenders, Caleb Amankwah and Konadu Yiadom after their game against Dreams FC, saying they are fantastic.
The Rainbows traveled to Dawu looking for back to back wins after beating Accra Lions on Wednesday but the hosts denies them the chance to carry the maximum. They ensured it remained all-square at the final whistle at Dawu Park.
Caleb Amankwah and Konadu were solid in defense for the Rainbows. They teamed up alongside Samuel Inkoom and Dennis Korsah.
Coach David Ocloo, speaking to StarTimes after the game said: “Earlier I told you Caleb is a warrior and I think Konadu is learning a lot from him. The two of them are fantastic. They were just brilliant on Wednesday and today.”
The result from Saturday’s game meant Hearts of Oak missed the chance to move above Medeama SC and Bechem United into second – they are fourth on the league table with 39 points.
The Rainbows will return home to host Nsoatreman FC at the Accra Sports Stadium in their next Premier League fixture.
