Red-hot Kotoku Royals striker, Francis Andy Kumi says he never played under pressure during his time with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The in-form attacker had a difficult stint with the current Ghanaian champions after joining them from Unistar Soccer Academy.
Despite failing to show his best at Kotoko, the Kotoku Royals striker has divulged that he never played under pressure.
“I never played under pressure when I was in Kotoko. I even wanted our matches to be played in every two days. I wasn’t having any pressure and I wasn’t playing under pressure,” he stated in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
Having arrived in Kumasi with high expectation after shining in the Division One League, Kumi scored only 4 goals in 16 games for the Kumasi-based club.
But he has appeared as one of the best strikers in the ongoing campaign after joining Kotoku Royals in February from Bechem United.
His performance has attracted interest from Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak. The Rainbows have reportedly opened talks for the services of the 23-year-old attacker.
Kumi has netted nine goals in twelve GPL games.
