Asante Kotoko captain, Richard Boadu Agadas has been suspended for his side’s league game against Berekum Chelsea on Friday.
The midfielder is not available for the trip due to yellow card accumulation. He picked up his third yellow card in five games during their outstanding league game against King Faisal. The captain of the GPL giants has received nine yellow cards in the ongoing BetPawa Premier League.
With this, the Porcupine Warriors will have to rely on other players to face the Bibires.
Agadas has been a key figure in Kotoko’s set-up this season, playing every single minute of football in 22 Premier League games with two goals.
The GPL holders will be hoping to secure their first win in Berekum in two seasons and occupy the second position on the league table in their quest to defend the title.
Last week’s draw with King Faisal denied Coach Abdulai Gazale the chance to record his second victory after beating RTU 4-0.
Kotoko currently rank fourth with 39 points after 25 games.
