Asante Kotoko interim manager, Abdulai Gazale has called up 20 players for their upcoming league match against Berekum Chelsea.
The Porcupine Warriors will travel to the Bono Region to face the Bibires on Friday at Golden City Park.
Rashid Nortey, who returned to full training last Thursday is not part of the traveling squad.
The midfielder has been missing since their first game of the Premier League second round against Nsoatreman FC.
Kotoko will also make the trip without four key players (Richard Boadu Agadas, Eric Zeze, Nicholas Osei-Bonsu and Matheus de Souza). These players were part of the team that played against King Faisal.
Captain Richard Boadu Agadas and Eric Zeze have been suspended for accumulating yellow cards.
Elsewhere, Matheus de Souza and Nicholas Osei-Bonsu have been dropped from the squad through injury.
The team’s available squad consists of Danlad Ibrahim, Steven Mukwala, Mohammed Alhassan, and others.
Asante Kotoko will hope to record its first victory in Berekum after two seasons in their quest to defend the league title. Tomorrow’s meeting will be the reverse fixture for week 9’s game which ended 2-1 in favour of the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
They are four points off the top spot and must take all three points to close the gap to one.
