Asante Kotoko caretaker, Coach Abdulai Gazale has criticized his players following their disappointing defeat to Berekum Chelsea in the BetPawa Premier League.
The trainer admitted that his players didn’t turn up against the Bibires in Berekum.
The Porcupine Warriors suffered 3-0 defeat to a resolute Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park. All the goals came in the second half. Kalo Ouattara’s brace and Ansu Patrick’s goal dented the Porcupine Warriors title hopes.
“It’s a disappointing results from our side. We were here to pick three points unfortunately it rather go against us. We didn’t do well. The entire team, we didn’t do well because the way we wanted to play we couldn’t play that way,” Coach Abdulai Gazale told StarTimes in a post match interview.
They defending champions remain fourth on the league table – four points behind current leaders Aduana Stars, which can extend the gap to seven by beating Accra Great Olympics at home on Saturday afternoon.
