FT: Accra Lions 4 – 2 Medeama SC
Seidu Basit’s SUPER HAT-TRICK gave Accra Lions their first win after five games against Medeama SC at Accra Sports Stadium on Friday in the BetPawa Premier.
The home side took to the field against the visitors knowing that all they needed was the maximum points to halt their five game unbeaten run and went out guns blazing to secure victory.
They put on a stellar display to convincingly defeat the Mauve and Yellow side courtesy of a super hat-trick from Seidu Basit. Basit has become the first player to score four goals in a single game in the ongoing campaign.
Former Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Vincent Atinga also bagged brace but his goals weren’t enough to save his side.
