The absentee list at Asante Kotoko continues to shorten as midfielder, Justice Blay returns to first-team training.
The workaholic midfielder has not featured since their 2-1 victory over Samartex but is now in contention to be in the matchday squad for the upcoming Premier League match against Bibiani Gold Stars.
Blay is regarded as one of the best midfielders at Asante Kotoko, but with his injury issues other players have been filling in. He has made only 13 appearances for the Porcupine Warriors from 29 league games this season. He will be expected to join the squad for their upcoming clash.
The Ghanaian champions confirmed his return on Thursday morning via Twitter.
Asante Kotoko will host Gold Stars this weekend at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The Porcupine Warriors Will be in confident of ending their two-game winless run.
They were held to a 1-1 draw with Tamale City after losing 2-0 in Sogakope to Accra Great Olympics.
The club currently rank fifth on the league table with 43.
