Sammy Osae Akoto started the rout with a long range shot but that did not end the first half for the hosts.
Hearts and Kotoko target, Sampson Eduku doubled the lead for the hosts after twelve minutes.
The red-hot striker then increased the tally to 3-0 in the 34th minute before halftime.
King Faisal returned looking to overturn the scoreline but that did not stop Godknows Dzakpasu from finishing the job. He made it 4-0 for the home side in the 54th minute.
The emphatic victory puts Tamale City six points away from the top four, King Faisal remain sixteenth on the league table with 36 points.
