Tamale City forward, Sampson Eduku has expressed his readiness to join the Black Stars.
Eduku has established himself as one of the best strikers in the local league, with four games to spare.
The 27-year-old has been in scintillating form this season for the Northern-based club in the BetPawa Premier League. He has made a strong statement with his performances, leading the race for the league’s Golden Boot with 14 goals alongside Hafiz Konkoni.
However, the forward is already looking ahead to receive a call-up to join the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars of Ghana.
“Everyone is aiming to play for his national team because you will be proud and it is good to represent your nation. I’m ever ready whenever they call me and I will be happy to join the Black Stars,” he told Ghanasportspage.com.
The former Karela United player has heavily linked with clubs like Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
The two Ghanaian giants will look forward to snatch the former Karela United attacker at the end of the season to boost their squad for the next campaign.
