Rumour has is that former Kumasi Asante Kotoko boss, Prosper Narteh Ogum is planning to work with Kotoku Royals coach John Eduafo at Accra Hearts of Oak if his move does materialised.
Coach Ogum is expected to be announced as manager of Accra Hearts of Oak at the end of the season following weeks of speculation.
The management of the GPL giants have been admirers of Prosper Narteh Ogum in the past and enquired about his availability after Slavko Matic’s exit. Talks have progressed positively in the last few days between both parties but no formal deal has been signed yet.
As confirmed, the former GPL winner will reunite with David Ocloo and the head coach of relegated Kotoku Royals, John Eduafo. Ocloo and Eduafo worked under Prosper Ogum as assistant coaches at Asante Kotoko last season.
Both coaches hold CAF License A coaching certificates and have reputation for an attacking style of play and talent development.
Prosper Narteh has been out of club football since parting ways with Asante Kotoko after winning the 2021/22 BetPawa Premier League.
The Rainbows’ search for a new manager has been reduced to two names, with the club’s ex-coach Frank Nutall appearing on the list but the 45-year-old trainer is regarded as the favorite for the permanent job.
