King Faisal came back from one-goal deficit against Nsoatreman FC on Sunday to secure a 3-2 win in the semi-final stage of the MTN FA Cup at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Stadium.
Nsoatreman FC took the lead from the spot during the 15th minute through Samuel Ofori.
Baba Yahaya brought the Inshallah Boys back into the game with the equalizer in the 36th minute and Frimpong Boateng scored to make it 2-1 before halftime.
Back from the break, Nsoatreman FC began quickly and continue pressing. They threw everything at their opponents in search of a goal.
However, Kwame Nana Junior scored to draw his side level at the 55th minute.
But King Faisal rallied superbly as they battled back to claim a massive 3-2 win courtesy of Samuel Adom Antwi.
Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu’s side will now play Dreams FC in the final stage of the FA Cup.
The winner of the competition will represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
