A powerful delegation from the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) just had a crucial meeting with players and officials of Hearts of Oak at the World Trade Centre, Accra
Most of the top officials of the club including Togbe Afede, Odotei Sowah, Alhaji Akanbi, Opare Addo and others were in the building at the time of the meeting, which addressed a range of issues including the welfare of players, contracts, relations, education, life after football among others.
The PFAG aims to build a strong relationship between professional footballers and their clubs and the FA, sustaining and protecting their interests and providing them with skills after their football careers end.
The association also aims to provide a platform to build partnerships among all sectors of the football community to ensure that all stakeholders act in unison in the interest of professional footballers and in improving the lives of footballers, leading to the development of sport in Ghana.
The PFAG delegation led by General Secretary Tony Baffoe, Yussif Chibsah and Thomas Boakye-Agyeman spent hours with the Hearts team which had Hon. Vincent Sowah Odotei as the main spokesperson.
