‘The Lion King’ Inaki Williams bags goal and assist in Athletic Bilbao’s triumph over Celta Vigo

Black Stars forward, Inaki Williams put up a Man of the Match performance with a goal and assist in Athletic Bilbao’s 2-1 win over Celta Vigo at the San Mamés Barria stadium on Saturday.

The Ghanaian international was voted Man of the Match after another beautiful display in the Spanish La Liga.

He gave Bilbao the lead in the opening five minutes during tbe first half. Inanki then set up Alex Berenguer who put his side 2-1 ahead on 55th minute to return back to winning ways after four games.

He has scored 10 times in 32 games this season 2022/2023. This makes him the number 18 scorer in the La Liga so far. 6 of the 10 goals were scored at home while he scored 4 goals at away.

Inanki will hope to increase his tally in their last three games of the season. Bilbao currently rank seventh on the league table after matchday 35.
