- Coach Nuru Yakubu is currently in Malta for an attachment with Swieqi United
Maltese club, Swieqi United Football Club have expressed an interested in
Ghanaian trainer, Nuru Yakubu.
The Former Accra Lions and Montreal FC gaffer touched down in Malta days ago for one-month attachment with Swieqi United and the management of the club are very delighted about his hard work so far.
They are currently in talks with the Ghanaian tactician to lead their youth team.
Coach Nuru Yakubu, who is an expert in youth football development is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Maltese side should the the deal go through.
Ghanasportspage.com can confirm that the gaffer is very happy and ready to join the club in the coming days.
Coach Nuru in the past helped Accra Lions to secure promotion from the First division to the Ghana premier league.
Before that, he previously worked with Division Two side Madina Republicans as a coach where he also helped in the development of Alexander Agyarkwa of Selangor Football Club in Malaysia, Dominic Nsobila, Osman Bukari of Black stars of Ghana, etc.
