Eight months after being sacked by Hearts of Oak, Coach Samuel Boadu is wanted by BetPawa Premier League newbies, Nations FC.
The Abrankese-based club is lining up replacement for their current gaffer, Johnson Smith, who played a crucial role in their journey to the Ghanaian top-flight for the first time.
This is because according to the Ghana Premier League rules, on coaching requirements, the former Skyy FC coach cannot be the head coach for the Abrankese-based squad, due to his lack of CAF License A certificate.
Nations FC’s qualification to the top flight was confirmed after beating WAFA 3-2 at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Zone Two of the Division One League.
They are now focused on boosting their technical team ahead of their maiden participation in the BetPawa Premier League.
However, Legon Cities coach, Maxwell Konadu has been identified as one of the favorites to join the newly-promoted side, according to reports.
The former Asante Kotoko boss is expected to part ways with the Accra giants after the season but will face competition from the one-time Premier League winner to take over the Nations FC job.
