USM Kenchela had to settle for a point at home in Tuesday’s clash with JS Saoura in the Algerian league.
Ghana’s Maxwell Baakoh emerged as one of the best players on the pitch after producing another standout performance.
Despite their failure to ease back to winning ways, Baakoh did a fantastic job and ended the game as most fouled player.
The Ghanaian international managed to shut JS Saoura down in the midfield, and as the game went on, he frequently joined the attack.
Baakoh created the most chances with an inspired performance. He was everywhere against the ‘The Eagles’.
The former Asante Kotoko player frequently won the ball back, giving Kenchela intensity throughout the game. He completed 5/5 dribbles, made five interceptions and three recoveries.
The 27-year-old midfield dynamo has been terrific this campaign whenever he has been called upon.
He has now made 20 appearances for the Algerian side this season with three goals in the Ligue 1.
With five games remaining to end the campaign, Kenchela occupies the sixth position with 36 points.
They will travel to play US Biaskra on week 26 of the Algerian League coming Tuesday.
