The Swedish Sex Federation (SSF) explains on its official website the philosophy, spirit and rules of the first European Sex Championship, which will be held in Gothenburg from June 8 after sex has been officially recognised as a sport in Sweden.
“According to many, sex as a sport is quite difficult, especially when starting with training and competing. All sports are difficult to practice independently, of course all competitors should know the basic rules of competition in sex sports,” the website reads.
The rules of sex as a sport
For each competition, the SSF will set the most important criteria with points for each discipline. Participants will meet the requirements to receive points.

- Seduction of a competitor/athlete: How fast a competitor/athlete can make another competitor/athlete feel attracted to him/her.

- Massaging different parts of the body: feet, legs, buttocks, back, stomach, neck, back of the head, forehead, face is a part of the massage which is not connected with sexual organs. The massage lasts for the specified time.

- Foreplay: How quickly and effectively can a competitor/athlete make another competitor/athlete satisfied with the foreplay and make them want to continue in the competition.

- Release: How long can a competitor/athlete show his/her endurance against another competitor/athlete and make the opponents satisfied with the effort of his/her speciality.

- Appearance or organs: A competitor/athlete will be judged and scored on his/her appearance and the appearance of his/her sexual organs.

- Artistic performance of pose/stance: This is one of the sport disciplines in which each competitor/athlete is judged individually, although they compete together with the aim of achieving a score that can take them to the next level.

- Endurance and number of orgasms during a specified time: Competitors must show endurance. The opponents must be able to have one or more orgasms.

- The most artistic intercourse according to jury and audience: This is an overall evaluation of artistically performed sexual intercourse by contestants who have passed the 14 previous levels of the competition.

- The couple that has been the most involved overall during the competition, as well as the most artistic according to the Kama Sutra and the most popular with the jury and the audience.
In this last test competitors can score 10 to 20 points and in some cases double or triple points if the audience votes the competitor as an extremely good athlete.

Ann Joy (Finland), Selva Lapiedra (Spain), Sexy Lexy (Portugal), Monsieur Lorenzo Viota (France), Nek Sinner (Greece), Matthew Meier (Ukraine), Barbie Sins (Great Britain), Mister Riddle (Russia) and Sweet Mery (Croatia), Mugur (Romania) are the confirmed participants so far.
