Nana Yaw Amponsah has seen questions asked of whether he will stay at Kotoko, but he is offering no nod towards an exit.
The young football administrator during an exclusive with Wontumi TV declined to say whether he would extend his contract as Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko when his contract expires, saying “We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.”
The tenure of Mr. Amponsah ends this year and it is unknown if his contract will be extended.
However, he has emphasised his commitment to ensuring a smooth transition when his time at Asante Kotoko comes to an end.
“I don’t know what the future holds, but personally, I want to finish my job at Asante Kotoko cleanly. When we reach that bridge, we will cross it,” Amponsah stated when asked about his potential participation in the upcoming Presidential election of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Currently, Nana Yaw Amponsah has only two months remaining on his contract and is yet to have a discussion regarding his future.
He has led the club from August 2020, facing backlash from multiple angles since his arrival despite securing numerous sponsorship deals for the club.
