Tarkwa based Medeama SC have been crowned champions of the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League season following emphatic victory over debutants Tamale City FC 3-0 on Sunday.
Medeama, two times champions of the Ghana FA Cup, have missed the chance to win the league title in several attempts, but the Mauve rose to the occasion in the current campaign, capitalizing on the fall of the usual suspects, Accra Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, and Aduana Stars.
