Asante Kotoko defender, Maxwell Agyemang has issued an apology to the fans of the club, admitting they had a disappointing season.
The centre-back expressed optimism that his side will bounce back next season on Social Media after playing out a goalless draw with Dreams FC on the final day of the BetPawa Premier League.
“Disappointing to end the season like we did. Our goal was to defend the title once again but unfortunately, we couldn’t.
“My love for the supporters will never fade away, I know you (supporters) deserve the best always. We have learnt a lot and hope to comeback stronger.
“This team is going places once again. Thank you.”
While the season did not unfold as planned for the Porcupine Warriors, they will aim to learn from their experiences and make the necessary improvements for future campaigns.
The result against Dreams FC secured a top-four finish for Kotoko, although it was undoubtedly a disappointing season for them after aiming to defend their league title.
