Asante Kotoko striker, Steven Mukwala has described his first season in the Ghana Premier League as difficult campaign.
It was a first season in Ghana for Mukwala and it went from far what was envisaged and hoped for.
Despite difficulties, the 23-year-old striker managed to register 11 goals and 5 assists in 30 Premier League games.
“I am proud of this team and every one that stood with us from the beginning of a challenging campaign,” Mukwala addresses the fanbase with a written message on Facebook.
“It’s a season that we want to forget. Asante Kotoko is a big club and it deserves to be on top.
“A special thanks to the Porcupine fans, you are amazingly the best fans I have ever met,”
The Ugandan striker finished off his message with an optimistic look to the future.
“Next season I’ll be back stronger than ever, and we’ll be back fighting for trophies! Stay well and see you soon. Love you all.”
