Multiple players are expected to leave Accra Hearts of Oak as the club look to make new signings to bolster their squad for the 2023/24 season.
Ghanasportspage.com has named 5 players who are the most likely to leave the club in the next transfer window.
Caleb Amankwah: The highly-rated defender could leave Accra Hearts of Oak for free due to his refusal to sign a new contract.
The centre-back’s contract at Hearts of Oak expires this month and now looks more than likely to depart on a free transfer if the club fail to convince him to renew his deal.
Caleb is considered as one of the best defenders in the BetPawa Premier League. He is known for his scoring abilities and defensive skills.
Obeng Junior & Isaac Mensah: Reports from the sports fraternity indicate that the club will not be renewing the contracts of attackers Kwadwo Obeng Jr and Isaac Mensah at the end of the season.
This decision comes as part of the club’s plans to rebuild and revitalise the team following a disappointing campaign that saw them struggle to avoid relegation on the final day of the season.
The two attackers experienced a significant dip in form last season compared to their previous campaigns. In 2021, they played crucial roles in Hearts of Oak’s successful double-winning season and were instrumental in retaining the FA Cup last year.
Prince Darmang: A loan move will be the best option for the midfielder.
It appears the player is not in the plans of the club. He failed to a make a single appearance in the just ended campaign.
The 24-year-old joined the Rainbows at the end of the 2021/22 season after parting ways with Congolese giants, TP Mazembe but moving to Hearts has not worked out for the him and may be loaned out for a playing time.
Yassan Ouatching: The 21-time Ghanaian champions would be willing to offload the Cameroonian striker who plays for the Central African Republic national team.
Yassan has failed to make an impact since his arrival in Ghana and is likely to leave the GPL side. He made nine Premier League appearances without scoring a goal.
