Caleb Amankwah on Tuesday expressed his readiness to extend his contract with Accra Hearts of Oak during an interview with GSP1.
The defender’s deal is due to expire later this month, which means the Rainbows are likely to lose him in the next transfer window.
The management of the club will hope to keep the highly-rated defender but talks to extend his stay have not even started as reported.
Despite rumours linking him away from the FA Cup holders, he has committed his future to the club and is ready to put pen on paper if talks with the Phobians do materialize.
“I am hoping for a successful talks and if there is an understanding I will continue. I will stay if only the outcome favours me. It is my job,” Caleb told Ghana’s leading website, Ghanasportspage.com.
Caleb has enjoyed an outstanding career at Hearts since his arrival.
He joined the Phobians from Aduana Stars in 2021 and has since won a league title and two FA Cup trophies.
