Some management members of Accra Hearts of Oak are once again under fire barley three months after Slavko Matic’s departure.
The Serbian tactician parted ways with the Ghanaian giants in March after he was chased out by the supporters of the club.
This was due to the club’s poor run in after suffering a back to back defeats against Aduana Stars and city rivals, Accra Great Olympics.
The fans demanded that the manager is not good enough to lead the side again.
But Samuel Nzemaba, the club’s ex-captain has alleged that some management members directed the fans to chase the tactician out for not allowing them to interfere in his selections.
Nzemaba exclusively disclosed during an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
“Slavko Matic’s refusal to allow some leaders to enter the team led to his departure. He was sacked for denying them the chance to interfere in his selections. Some leaders pushed the supporters to chase him out not because of his performance.
“They won’t tell you the truth and they will deny. What did Matic do? The supporters were directed by some leaders to sack the coach.
“I have captained the team before and I know what am talking about. They’ve been doing it. They will deny but it is true. It was difficult for them to sack him that’s why they forced the supporters and polluted them to do it.”
