Top-scorer of the BetPawa Premier League, Abednego Tetteh says playing in Africa is a big platform but he is fully focused on Bibiani Gold Stars.
The ex-Phobian has been linked with a move away from the Miners after winning the Golden Boot in the just ended campaign.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com, Tetteh was asked about playing in Africa with Medeama SC.
To which he said: “I have played in the CAF Champions League and the Confederations Cup on two different occasions. It’s a very big platform but I am thinking about my team for now. I will wait for the management for confirmation.
Medeama SC must focus on strengthening their squad in order to excel in the CAF inter-club competition next season.
Signing Abednego Tetteh, who had a breakthrough season can be a huge benefit to the club.
The former King Faisal forward only restored his form after joining the Miners later in the season scoring 16 goals in 19 appearances in addition to his initial two goals earlier to make a total of 18 goals.
Tetteh’s performance powered Bibiani Gols Stars to a remarkable fifth-place finish.
