There is now an increasing possibility of Thomas Partey leaving EPL side, Arsenal after three seasons as clubs from Europe and Saudi Arabia chase him for his services.
Partey is under contract with Arsenal until 2025. However, with no progress said to have been made over a new deal, the Premier League side appears ready to entertain offers. The North London giants believe they could make a profit on the Ghanaian international after once believing he’d leave on a free transfer.
The 30-year- old midfielder is on the radar of Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Khaleej but two Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan have reportedly entered the race for the ex-Atletico Madrid player.
Reports indicate the Gunners and Partey’s representatives have been working on a potential exit route for the 30-year-old. Whether he favours a Saudi switch, however, is a different matter.
Partey has made 99 appearances for the club, including 40 in all competitions last season as the Gunners finished second in the league, scoring three of his five club career goals last term. An effort against Tottenham in the North London Derby last season was among those nominated for the Gunners’ goal of the season award.
The Black Stars deputy captain was a key player for the team making massive contributions by scoring three goals in 33 appearances in the just ended campaign. He however fell below Mikel Arteta’s choice when the season approached its end losing his trademark midfielder role to new signing Jorginho.
