Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama Sporting Club are planning to negotiate with Asante Kotoko over the signing of highly-rated midfielder, Richmond Lamptey.
Reports reaching Ghanasportspage.com indicate Lamptey is a top target for the Yellow and Mauves as they prepare to make a mark in Africa next season.
The midfielder has impressed since joining the Porcupine Warriors from Inter Allies in 2021.
However, it has been disclosed that Coach Evans Adotey is a hugely admirer of Lamptey and is looking forward to grab his signature for the 2023/24 campaign.
Having secured the ticket to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season, the Yellow and Mauves will hope to boost their squad but an official bid is a yet to be submitted.
The 2021/22 Premier League winner’s contract with the Kumasi giants runs until 2024.
He featured in 27 league games for Kotoko in the just ended campaign.
